ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Gina is an artist and creative first, specializing in concept development, animation and design. She is also the best producer she knows as well as EP for all things HBJ. She and Mark lead the charge and have assembled the best and most versatile team of artists in the business. Her passion for storytelling and animation continue to drive HBJ and push creative limits.

Mark Szumski, freakishly handsome and gifted with useless psychic abilities is renowned throughout the global media landscape for always smelling very, very good*. When he's not watching UFO documentaries, he serves as the Creative Director, Executive Producer, and VFX Supervisor of HBJ. Despite crafting iconic content for over 20 years, he somewhat remains humble.

*His signature scent is a custom blend of Tom Ford’s Oud Wood and D.S. Durga’s Cowboy Grass.”

A lover of all things Sound and Vision.
An alchemist of processes Analog and Digital.
A goof-machine with his wife and kids in CT.
A Wizard, a True Star.

Art director and designer crafting creative magic out of ATX. A Pratt Institute alumn, she's got a passion for problem solving and visual storytelling, sparked by a childhood obsession with punk album covers and Saul Bass movie posters. When she's not sitting waaaaaay too close to her computer screen, you can find Ruby at the dance studio or uncovering cosmic insights with the tarot.

Born and raised in Queens NY, the World's Borough.
A graduate of the Pratt Institue.
Now a family man in NYC.
Motion Designer, Editor - a wearer of many hats (literally) who's love of movies led into an extreme love of title sequences.
Who would've thought that an obsession over The Cable Guy's opening titles would lead to a career in motion design.

Nick and Gina have been creatively collaborating since they were toddlers, and their creative chemistry permeates the custom music production for HBJ. From bright modern pop for Meta to grunge and metal for Fender, Nick’s omnivorous musical taste and style adds virtuosity and a super-pro production aesthetic to every project. Nick’s other job is singing for Yacht Rock Revue, selling out amphitheaters across the country and sharing the stage with everyone from Kenny Loggins to Eddie Money. He’ll be touring the country with Train and REO Speedwagon in 2024, but the back lounge of the bus has already been reserved for his mobile studio…

Jermaine Johnson grew up East Point, Georgia & spent 8 years in the U.S. military. He’s been a club/event DJ since 2009, with over 300 weddings under his belt. He’s the active executive assistant for HBJ since 2022 & a proud father of 1.
