Hey Beautiful Jerk had the pleasure to team up again with Netflix in bringing director Stefon Bristol's first feature "See You Yesterday" to life. Produced by Spike Lee, HBJ created all of the visual effects, UI graphics, iPhone composites and the opening titles for the project. Working closely with Stefon, HBJ conceived and developed an original "topographical glitch" effect for the kids as their TRP power packs transport them into the ferocious CGI wormhole seen in the film. The talented HBJ 2D and 3D teams also developed augmented reality holograms, an eerie ghostly glitch effect that included a photo-real backpack and numerous challenging photo-real retouches.
